Magnum Staffing has always been known for offering innovative workplace solutions to our clients.  One particular client, a major oilfield manufacturer, has a large machine shop.  They needed to double their number of machinists on the floor over a one year period.  They looked to Magnum for a solution.  

We were able to offer a service for the client to give employees career paths into becoming machinists through training.  The training, offered exclusively through Magnum Staffing, consists of a blended method of online training and on the job experience.         

The training program allows the employee to gain knowledge of shop operations, specific to the controls systems and programming language of the machines used.  The program also allows the client to forecast the amount of trained machinists they will have on the floor at a target date, which allows greater accuracy for production planning.
