Definition of Services
The terms "Worker" or "Associate" means an employee of Magnum Staffing.
CONTINGENT | A program whereby Workers are assigned to client based on client’s possible needs or the occurrence of unforeseen events, at client’s request. |
TEMPORARY | Workers are requested by client to fill specific roles for an anticipated short period of time, typically on a planned basis. |
C2H | “Contract-To-Hire”. A short-term job that allows both the client and Associate to try out a role before committing to full-time employment. Contract to hire agreements typically set out the length of time the Associate will work for the client before being hired. |
ONSITE MANAGEMENT | A Magnum certified staffing specialist is assigned to a client’s facility to monitor the overall attendance and performance of assigned associates, and coordinate workforce needs with client’s HR team. Typically engaged when associate level is around 50 or more. |
DIRECT SEARCH AND HIRE | Client engages Magnum to search and recruit one or more people with specific skill-sets, and industry experience to fill a need. This process could be an element of our C2H service model. |
PROFESSIONAL RECRUITING | Client engages Magnum to search and recruit a “professional” individual, submit resumes, verify credentials. Typically includes IT, Engineering, Accounting, Executive Management. Client interviews and decides on hiring. Agreed fee structure applies. |
R P O SERVICES | RPO stands for Recruitment Process Outsourcing. It is a business model whereby a client outsources to Magnum the management of the organization’s recruitment function (in whole or part) to drive cost, quality, efficiency, service, and scalability benefits. |
MANAGED SERVICES MSP | VMS |
As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) Magnum manages either all or part of the total temporary worker recruitment for an organization. This could involve other staffing agency suppliers. We are responsible for the full end-to-end management of the contingent workforce – from supplier engagement to strategic workforce planning and offboarding. A Vendor Management System (VMS) is essentially a software system that can facilitate the procurement and management of contingent workers. Magnum has its own proprietary VMS suite of software. |
EOR PAYROLLING SERVICE | Payrolling services are an outsourced solution that allows companies to offload the administrative responsibilities of payroll processing. Under this service, the employees are paid through our staffing and recruiting agency, even though they work at and are managed by the client company. |
3PL COLLABORATION | Magnum offers strategic solutions that allow 3PL companies to quickly adjust to their changing demands that can optimize labor costs. Skilled professionals in logistics and supply chain management are readily available. |
