Magnum Staffing is looking for Assembly Mechanic for a client in the Channelview, TX Area assembling and disassembling Valves, working on various motors, and other job responsibilities. Pay Rate starts at $26

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the disassembly and assembly of Vertical Turbine Pumps
• You must be able to follow detailed procedures and document exact dimensions and fits during assembly
• You will be responsible for performing service for Law Valve of Texas Pump customers such as repairing/replacing mechanical seals and stuffing boxes
• You will stay in contact via email and phone with customers that require service
• You will be expected to perform service work with minimal notice and be willing to drive several hundred miles away from Law Valve of Texas
• You will be expected to work 40 + hours weekly depending on the workload

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Pump Mechanic or Service Technician on Tank Barges
• A track record of ethical behavior
• Attention to detail and great work ethic
• Analytical, problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills
• Demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
• Expert Mechanical Ability
