Assembly Shipping Clerk Jobs in Weimer

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

To work effectively and efficiently in a manufacturing/warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations.

Assemble and visually inspect mechanical products using a variety of tools.

• Packs and unpacks orders while maintaining department schedule

• Monitor and visually inspect merchandise received.

• Create shipping documents and pulling inventory from shelves.

• Building assemblies or single components.

• Packing, labeling and boxing products.

• Meet production quality and quantity standards on the shift. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Housekeeping as it applies to job or work area.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Preferred ability to drive a forklift.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skill

• Must have computer skills.

• Must be able to use measuring devices.

• Must follow company safety procedures at all times.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education

• 0-3 years job related experience
