Job Summary: The Customer Success Agent (CSA) plays a key role in our sales and support team. Assigned to an outside sales representative and a set group of valued customers, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth order processing, resolving customer inquiries, and providing ongoing support. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role where you'll engage with both internal teams and external customers to ensure satisfaction and product success.
As a CSA, you will build lasting customer relationships, maintain customer accounts, and ensure the products and services meet customer needs. You will work closely with the sales team and customers to promote loyalty, enhance product usage, and maximize value through a consultative approach.
Essential Functions:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, web, chat, and other communication channels promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide excellent customer satisfaction and ensure accurate, timely order processing.
- Educate customers on our products and services.
- Escalate complex or non-routine issues to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain customer accounts and track interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Report any service gaps or issues to management to ensure continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide product and service support to customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Process orders for new or additional products/services and ensure accurate data entry.
- Field customer complaints and inquiries, forwarding complex issues to the appropriate specialist or supervisor.
- Ensure issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and follow up when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of previous customer service experience
- A technical degree or Associate’s degree is a plus.
- Strong ability to build relationships with customers and understand their needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
