Magnum Staffing is seeking applicants for Diesel Mechanic. Pay rate starts at $20
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on diesel-powered equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as lubrication, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
- Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to support repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with company safety protocols and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communicate with supervisors and other team members to coordinate repairs and schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related field.
- Knowledge of diesel systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
Work Environment:
- Shop environment.
- Exposure to loud noises, grease, and heavy machinery.
- May require overtime and weekend shifts.
