Job description
We are looking for a customer-service oriented warehouse dispatcher. Will receive truckers, coordinate priorities, communicate with customers, generate Bills of Lading, etc. Needs to be able to work in an organized manner with accuracy and efficiency. This is a direct hire position.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls
- Generate Material Receipt Reports
- Coordinate inbound/outbound trucks waiting to be unloaded/loaded
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Skills
- Proven logistics experience
- Familiar with trucking and/or warehousing industry
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree'
