About the Role:

Magnum Staffing Services is hiring a Laser Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the 77034 area. If you have experience operating laser cutting equipment—especially the Ermaksan G Force 6Kw fiber laser—and are looking for stable, long-term night shift work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Operate Ermaksan G Force laser cutting machine for precision metal fabrication
• Read and follow technical drawings, cut sheets, and job orders
• Set up the machine, load materials, and adjust settings to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform inspections of finished parts for accuracy and defects
• Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with safety standards

Requirements:

• Experience operating a laser cutting machine (preferably Ermaksan or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
• Night shift availability required
