Machine Shop Helper Jobs in Houston
Magnum Staffing is seeking applicants for Machine Shop Helper . Pay rate starts at $18
Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators with loading/unloading materials and basic machine prep
- Move raw materials and finished products using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
- Perform basic assembly, cutting, grinding, or deburring tasks as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, trash removal, and equipment wipe-downs
- Inspect materials for defects and report issues to supervisors
- Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE at all times
- Support production teams with miscellaneous shop tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working around machinery, tools, and loud environments
- Basic math and measurement skills are a plus
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn
- Forklift experience is required
- Weekly pay
