The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials throughout the facility. This role requires experience operating a stand-up forklift and supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate stand-up forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and store materials.
• Transport materials to and from designated storage and production areas.
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for shipping or production.
• Verify materials against work orders, pick lists, or shipping documents.
• Perform basic inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift (certification preferred or required).
• Previous material handling or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Basic computer or RF scanner experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• May require overtime, weekends, or shift work.
