Magnum Staffing is seeking applicants for MATERIAL HANDLER WITH FORKLIFT. Pay rate starts at $18

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Material Handler I will move, store, and prepare materials at our loading dock in distribution center using hand or machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks. This role will also include loading/unloading trucks, organizing stock, fulfilling orders, maintaining inventory records, and following safety protocols to ensure materials are moved accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Material Handling

Loading and unloading materials from trucks, storage, and production areas using manual labor or equipment. 

• Order Fulfillment

Picking, packing, and staging materials to fulfill customer orders for shipment.

• Inventory Management

Performing inventory counts, updating inventory records, and monitoring stock levels to identify low supplies.

• Equipment Operation

Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move and position materials.       

• Shipment Preparation

Securing, wrapping, and labeling packages for outgoing shipments and checking incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.     

• Workplace Safety

Adhering to all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and performing routine equipment inspections and cleaning.

Qualifications:

• Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems

Understanding of proper stacking and storage methods

• Experience

Experience with operating a forklift in a warehouse environment

Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one (active and valid drivers license is required).

• Skills/Abilities

Attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of team

Good verbal and written communication skills
