Mechanic Operator Job Description

Position Summary:

A Mechanic Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing basic mechanical repairs on machinery and equipment. This role combines mechanical aptitude with machine operation skills to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.

*            Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.

*            Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs to prevent breakdowns.

*            Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues.

*            Troubleshoot mechanical problems and report major malfunctions to the maintenance team.

*            Adjust machine settings for optimal production output.

*            Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and production logs.

*            Ensure cleanliness and safety of the work area.

*            Follow standard operating procedures and company policies.

Requirements:

*            Proven experience in machine operation and mechanical maintenance.

*            Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.

*            Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

*            Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

*            Basic knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
