Outside Sales Representative

Location: Houston Area (Requires Daily Travel)

About Us:

Work with a growing manufacturer of premium vinyl windows and doors, serving the Gulf Coast states. They have experienced consistent growth, leading to a relocation to a larger facility in Greater Houston in July 2022. This expansion doubled the fabrication capacity and enabled us to integrate advanced computerized equipment and robotics.

We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative with extensive window and door product knowledge to join the team. This role requires confidence, accountability, professionalism, and a strong ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.

Salary $50,000, plus 1% commission

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and consultations.
• Follow industry trends to identify new sales opportunities.
• Attend industry trade shows to generate leads and engage with customers.
• Recommend marketing strategies tailored to target regions or demographics.
• Generate and submit sales reports to management.
• Conduct plan takeoffs.
• Negotiate with customers to close sales.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven ability to develop and grow market presence.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Persistent, trustworthy, and customer-focused.
• Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales within the building materials sector.
• Resides in a central location within the assigned territory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field OR at least five years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel extensively (4 days per week).
• 1-5 overnight trips per month.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
