Location: Amelia, TX

Shifts:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are hiring Pipe Yard Helpers to support daily operations at an industrial pipe yard in Amelia, Texas. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position involving the movement, loading, unloading, staging, and organization of pipe and materials.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, able to work outdoors, and comfortable working around heavy equipment and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and staging pipe and materials.
Help organize pipe and maintain designated yard areas.
Assist equipment operators and other yard personnel with daily operations.
Secure and handle materials safely.
Perform general yard cleanup and housekeeping.
Follow directions from supervisors and equipment operators.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Identify and report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous pipe yard, oil & gas, construction, warehouse, industrial, or general labor experience is a plus.
No prior pipe yard experience required for the right candidate.
Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely around heavy equipment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PPE & Safety Requirements

Safety is our top priority. Employees are required to wear company-required PPE while working in the yard, including:

Metatarsal safety boots
Hard hat
Safety glasses
High-visibility vest/clothing
Work gloves
Hearing protection when required
Additional PPE as required for specific tasks

Work Environment

This position is performed primarily outdoors in an active industrial pipe yard. Employees will work around trucks, heavy equipment, pipe, and other materials and must remain alert and safety-conscious throughout the shift.
