Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and direct all incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual.
- Greet and check in visitors in a warm and professional manner, and provide general information.
- Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff or meetings.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, deliveries, and packages.
- Handle administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and maintaining office records.
- Control office access by following security procedures, such as issuing visitor badges.
- Assist with other clerical duties as assigned, such as preparing documents or ordering office supplies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree is preferred.
- Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
