Reset Merchandiser
Position Summary
The Reset Merchandiser is responsible for executing retail product resets in assigned store locations according to planograms and client specifications. This role ensures beverage products are properly displayed, stocked, and organized to maximize visibility, compliance, and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute store resets according to detailed planograms and merchandising instructions
- Install, rearrange, and maintain beverage product displays, shelving, and coolers
- Remove outdated or discontinued products and replace with current SKUs
- Ensure product placement follows company and retailer standards
- Stock shelves, rotate product (FIFO), and ensure proper pricing and labeling
- Assemble and install display equipment as needed
- Communicate with store management regarding reset schedules and execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after resets
- Report inventory issues, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling equipment and materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior merchandising, reset, or retail experience strongly preferred
- Experience in beverage, grocery, or CPG distribution a plus
- Ability to read and follow planograms and reset instructions
- Comfortable with physical labor and working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Work Environment
- Retail grocery, convenience stores, and beverage retail locations
- Frequent lifting, bending, stocking, and moving product
- Early morning, daytime, shifts depending on reset schedules
- Travel between multiple store locations may be required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy cases of beverages
- Standing, walking, kneeling, and climbing ladders for extended periods
- Repetitive motion handling stock and shelving tasks
Required Safety Equipment
- Steel-toe boots required at all times while on job sites
- Must follow all PPE and safety guidelines as required by the client and company
