Machine Operator
Magnum Staffing is seeking applicants for a Thermwood Machine Operator position in Houston, TX. Pay rate starts at $16.00
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery
- Assist machine operators by moving raw materials and other supplies
- Setting up manufacturing equipment
- Overseeing training of new or Junior Machine Operators
- Using machine equipment to complete tasks
- Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment
- Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience running a Thermwood or heavy machinery; programming experience preferred
- Ability to perform reading, writing and math functions
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Must be able to stand for at least 8-10 hours per day and lift at least 40 pounds
