Welders FCAW MIG Jobs in Pasadena

Key Responsibilities

Perform FCAW/MIG welding on mild steel components per work orders and drawings.
Execute welds in 2G position (horizontal welding on vertical surfaces).
Weld primarily sheet metal up to 3/8” in thickness, ensuring integrity and appearance.
Maintain weld quality and consistency in a high-throughput, non-structural welding environment.
Operate welding equipment, grinders, and fabrication tools in accordance with safety protocols.
Inspect work for accuracy and completeness before submission for final QC check.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe during all operations.
Work collaboratively with the fabrication team and night shift supervisor to meet production goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience with FCAW/MIG welding.
Ability to weld in 2G position; knowledge of 3G is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with sheet metal welding techniques and thicknesses up to 3/8”.
No structural or vessel/tank welding required—this is a production/fabrication position.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently on night shift.
Ability to read and interpret simple fabrication drawings and measurements.
